1. Booking Agreement & Liability
By booking and/or using our studio spaces, you (“the Client”) agree to abide by these Terms of Service. This agreement constitutes a binding contract under the laws of Ontario, Canada. The individual making the reservation (“the Booker”) assumes full legal and financial responsibility for all persons present during the booking. The Booker is also responsible for ensuring that all participants and guests comply with these policies, including those related to studio use, liability, damages, and conduct.
2. Check-In Policy & Client Responsibility
It is mandatory for the Booker to check in at reception before the start of their reserved time. Third-party check-ins are not permitted. All adult guests must sign a Liability Waiver on-site. Failure to sign the waiver or check in properly may result in the cancellation of your session without refund. The Booker must be present throughout the entire duration of the booking.
3. Security Deposit & Payment Authorization
A $200 security deposit is required prior to accessing the studio. This deposit is collected via a pre-authorized hold on a valid credit card. The deposit serves as a safeguard against any damage, policy violation, unauthorized occupancy, or late departure. While the deposit is released the next business day, banks may take 3–5 business days to reflect the refund. If any deductions are necessary, a detailed receipt will be provided.
4. Pet Policy
Pets are permitted under strict conditions. A $50+HST non-refundable fee applies and must be paid before entry. The Booker is responsible for informing clients about this policy. Unauthorized pets or failure to pay the fee will result in additional charges and may impact future bookings. Pet-related damages or excessive cleaning needs will be charged against the deposit or invoiced to the Booker.
5. Overtime & Extended Use
Rental time includes setup, usage, and teardown. Exceeding your scheduled time without prior approval is subject to overtime fees, starting after a 15-minute grace period. These fees are calculated in 30-minute increments and deducted from the security deposit. Repeat offenders may be blacklisted.
6. Studio Capacity & Guest Limitations
Each studio has a maximum occupancy based on safety and comfort. Overcapacity without prior authorization is a serious violation. If you anticipate additional guests, please consult with our team before your session. Exceeding capacity limits may result in cancellation, additional charges, or denied entry.
7. Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy
All bookings are final and non-refundable. Clients who cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice may receive studio credit. Cancellations within 24 hours are not eligible for credit or refunds unless a valid reason is submitted and approved no later than 8 PM the night before the session. Studio credit, when granted, is valid for 60 days from the issue date.
8. Cleanliness, Damage & Restoration Fees
Studios must be returned to their original condition. This includes putting away props, restoring moved furniture, and disposing of all trash. A $100 cleaning fee may be applied for excessive mess. Furniture or floor damage will incur charges between $100–$300, or full replacement cost. Cleaning fees are strictly enforced to maintain the integrity and hygiene of our space.
9. Use of Premises
Studios may only be used for lawful, respectful activities. Clients are prohibited from filming or photographing adult or explicit content. You may not enter rooms you haven’t booked or remove furniture without authorization. Violating these terms may lead to immediate removal and forfeiture of the deposit.
10. Noise & Conduct Guidelines
Noise levels must remain moderate and respectful to other guests. Music must not contain profanity or explicit content. Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior is grounds for termination of the session. The Booker is accountable for the actions of every person they invite into the studio.
11. Surveillance & Security
Common areas are monitored by 24/7 surveillance to ensure safety, security, and adherence to policies. Any violation observed on camera may be subject to review, and may result in penalties including financial charges, suspension of privileges, or legal action.
12. Liability & Indemnification
B Camera Corp. is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss sustained on the premises. Clients waive any claims against the studio and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners and employees against any and all liabilities, damages, or claims resulting from use of the facility.
13. Final Reminders
Studio lights will be adjusted based on available daylight for safety. Please store all personal belongings inside your booked room, as staff are not responsible for items left unattended in common areas. For any equipment requests, please email info@bcamera.ca prior to your booking.
